WHAT ?
Blue Medicine is soul medicine– joining ritual art with Jungian depth psychology. Sandra's courses, rituals, and workshops draw from the ancient to tend the modern soul in a collective dark night of the soul. Her work offers a vision that reunites us with the Earth and more-than-human family, and invites us to re-enchant, and re-imagine our world.
Sandra is is the host "Blue Medicine Journal, A Jungian podcast that imagines the world through myth, dreams, and ritual art, storytelling, conversations, and soul tending in the kairos," in collaboration with her editor and producer, Lucas Bakker, whose original music and soundtrack weave it all together .
WHY ?
Five hundred years after the Conquest, our worldview has brought both progress and destruction. The peril we face is a call to consciousness. It is also a kairos or opportune moment. as Jung perceived it, for a change of worldview.
The work and vision of Blue Medicine is to grasp this kairos moment and re-imagine the world. I draw from ancient, and ensouled worldviews, emphasizing Mesoamerica. It is my way of giving birth to the ancient wisdom of my ancestors– in a new time.
I invite dreamers, wanderers, and seekers to quest with me, to make conscious what is unconscious, and re-story our lives and Earth.
Blue Medicine Journal invites a world born from the wisdom of reciprocity, regeneration, and the images arising from our hearts.
